Check-in Requirements & Cutoff Times
Recommended Check-In Times
- If travel is completely within the Bahamas, the recommended check-in time is at least two
hours prior to departure.
- For international flights, we recommend that you arrive at the airport at least three hours
prior to departure to allow sufficient time to complete all necessary international
requirements.
Domestic Travel
- In addition to checking in two hours before departure, you must be present at the departure
gate and ready to board 20 minutes prior to scheduled departure time to retain your
reservation and a seat. All Domestic Flights are closed for counter and internet check-in 60
minutes before departure.
International Travel
- For flights originating outside the Bahamas, you must check in three hours before departure
and be present at the departure gate and ready to board at least 20 minutes prior to
scheduled departure time to retain your reservation and a seat.
Seating & Baggage Acceptance
- Customers must comply with minimum check-in requirements to retain their seats on the
flight on which they are confirmed. Pre-reserved seats are subject to cancellation unless
you have checked in (obtained a boarding pass) at least 60 minutes before scheduled
departure.
- For passengers checking bags, there are also baggage acceptance cutoff times. “Baggage
acceptance cutoff time” means that customers must present themselves and their baggage
to an airline representative for check-in no later than the stated cutoff times for the
departure airport.
- Standard baggage acceptance cutoff for flights originating in all airports is 60 minutes
before departure.
